Mara Davis

"Mara is a Boise native with a strong Basque heritage and family roots from Berriatua. She has three children, all of whom have gone through Boiseko Ikastola. She studied at BSU for a year in Euskera and is currently enrolled in the HABE program. She has been with the Ikastola for 5+ years and feels the kids and families are an extension of her own."

Itxaso Cayero

"Itxaso is from Mungia and has been one of our instructors since 2008 with a break this last year. Itxaso is currently a student at BSU working on a double major. She combines her unending energy and strong Basque culture and brings it all into the classroom in order to pass it on. The kids have formed a bond with Itxaso that will last a lifetime. We hope to keep Itxaso as a permanent instructor for many years to come."
